ACES Digital Public Circularity Infrastructure (DPCI) Stack

Shared Digital Resource

ACES-DPCI is cocreating a digital public infrastructure for circularity, an integrated tech stack that enables smart, accessible circularity models tailored to the connectivity realities of the Global South. Leveraging proven national digital systems, shared infrastructure, and data interoperability, the platform connects informal and fragmented supply chain actors to formal value chains.

Powering the Network Effect

ACES Network Diagram

Our mobile tools map, digitize, and connect decentralized material flows, creating a living hub-and-spoke network that grows stronger with every participant. By ensuring traceability, efficiency, and inclusion, we reinforce and expand the recycling ecosystems ACES is building. Rolled out in phases across ACES-supported geographies, the system evolves through continuous feedback loops and co-innovation with local stakeholders.

Purpose-built for e-waste, end-of-life vehicles, and battery recycling, the platform amplifies the network effect—the more participants engage, the greater the value for everyone.

In the spirit of co-creation and shared ownership, we engage a diverse set of stakeholders across the circularity ecosystem to develop the ACES-DPCI stack. This includes designing user journeys and workflow logic tailored to the practices of:

  • Informal e-waste collectors, aggregators, dismantlers
  • Municipal waste departments
  • Regulatory authorities, including SPCBs and CPCB representatives in India
  • Circularity experts specializing across sectors
  • Legal and policy experts to define compliance checkpoints and data capture requirements for EPR and regulatory reporting
  • Digital public infrastructure specialists
